There is this rly cute guy that I see sometimes when I go to the gym and never really anywhere else besides that. I don’t know if we have any mutual friends. I don’t know what he does. heck, I don’t even know his name. But when I did go out to parties and whatnot, I wouldn’t see him there, and that’s a positive sign. I dont know if i should approach him or something because when I (and a lot of people actually) am at the gym, i like to be in my zone and just focus on what I am doing. also, this is a small school..but fuck the negatives, right?
Look at the trees, look at the birds, look at the clouds, look at the stars… and if you have eyes you will be able to see that the whole existence is joyful. Everything is simply happy. Trees are happy for no reason; they are not going to become prime ministers or presidents and they are not going to become rich and they will never have any bank balance. Look at the flowers — for no reason. It is simply unbelievable how happy flowers are.
We’re all going to die, all of us, what a circus! That alone should make us love each other but it doesn’t. We are terrorized and flattened by trivialities, we are eaten up by nothing.
Loneliness is the human condition. Cultivate it. The way it tunnels into you allows your soul room to grow. Never expect to outgrow loneliness. Never hope to find people who will understand you, someone to fill that space. An intelligent, sensitive person is the exception, the very great exception. If you expect to find people who will understand you, you will grow murderous with disappointment. The best you’ll ever do is to understand yourself.
journaling with mother nature and my love! Remember, we go through cycles of yin, yang (conservation/radiation). These are natural, core energies of life- we need to embrace/appreciate both of them instead of valuing times of action more than times of inward contemplation. When feeling stuck, surrender, let go, be good to yourelf. When we try to force things, that forceful, misaligned energy is what goes out and comes back.
The waves will keep coming, but we can learn how to surf for a more exhilarating life experience
